How to read files from a Mercedes-Benz ECU using CG FC200 on bench?
Here takes Mercedes-Benz MED17.7.2 TC1797 W176 ECU as an example.
Step-by-step guide:
Connect CG FC200 ECU programmer and a computer via USB cable, and supply power to FC200 as well
Open FC200 software, confirm the ECU model, and input the corresponding type (e.g. MED17.7.2) in the searching box to find BOSCH MED17.7.2 (Mercedes/A (W176)/180 1600—120)
Click “Platform”
Check the wiring diagram
Using standard cables:
- RED= 12 V
- BLACK= GND
- YELLOW= CAN-L
- GREEN= CAN-H
- BROWN=GPT-0
- PURPLE=GPT-1
Remember to pick out the right size of the pin, otherwise there will be poor contact
Then connect FC200 programmer and Benz ECU using harness properly
After connection, click “Connect” to connect ECU, and save the password file
Click “Read PFLASH”
Save the file after reading
Done!
