CGDI K2 Smart Key tool V5.5.0 supports key programming for 2020–2024 BMW G-chassis BDC3 modules, specifically keys made in Hungary. No activation and points required.
Note:
CGDI K2 can write to both new blank keys and used original keys.
It is compatible with two versions of BDC3 key boards, but it does not support BDC3 key boards with a longer chip.
Step-by-Step Procedure:
1.Access Function:
Navigate to More Functions-> BMW BDC3 Add Key.
2.Check Wiring Connection:
View the related key wiring diagram
3.Prepare Original Key:
Remove the shell of the original key and connect it to CGDI K2 tool using the remote generation cable.
4.Read and Save Original Key Data:
Use CGDI K2 to read and securely save the data from the original key.
5.Write to a New Key:
Once the original key data is saved, proceed to write the data to a new original key.
