Before starting, you can use [Chip Identification] feature to confirm the key’s chip type. Here’s how:
- Place the remote key into the coil of CGDI K2 programmer.
- Navigate to Chip Identification Copy → Chip Identification.
- The device will display the chip type (e.g., 8A).
Once the chip type is confirmed, follow these steps to unlock the key:
- Keep the key inthe coil of CGDI K2.
- Press the [Unlock] button to begin the unlocking process.
- In just seconds, the remote will be successfully unlocked.
Kindly notice:
- Please install the battery into key before unlocking
- During the unlocking process of the 4Doriginal Toyota smart card, the LED will flash and prompt that the unlocking is successful, otherwise please try again.
