CG FC200 Read 2015 Citroen Berlingo (B9) EDC17C10

Have a 2015 Citroen Berlingo (B9) 1.6 diesel EDC17C10. Many people have problems with this ECU. So today I tried to read it with CG FC200 ECU programmer which has installed Citroen & DS & FIAT & Peugeot and Ford car software. Let’s see if FC200 can work or not.

After connecting CG FC200 and computer via a USB cable, run FC200 software to operate.

Select Citroen>> Berlingo (B9)>> 1600 HDi 9HN <DV6ETED> 75>> BOSCH EDC17C10_TC1797>> Platform

Follow the wiring diagram to connect FC200 programmer and EDC17C10 ecu via the jumper wire, and also plug in the FC200 DC12V interface with a 12V power supply.

Firstly, identify the ECU.

The connection is successful, and the ECU and FC200 info are identified.

Next, read DFlash.

Read out the DFlash data, and save it.

There is a prompt pop up “The current ECU type does not support the modification of VIN, are you willing to provide FLASH files to assist in development?”, click “No” to continue.

Then, read PFlash.

Read out the PFlash data as well, and save it.

After that, check if the data saved are correct.

Here I select PFLASH data to Fairdell HexCmp to compare.

It’s reading, and now I’m sure I have good data inside.

In the past, I read this ECU and didn’t pay attention it was cloned by Ktag, and it was empty I wrote. I wrote everything with FFF with zeros and I had a big problem after that. So that’s the reason why I want to read EDC17C10 with CG FC200 programmer.

FYI…

Here are some related CG FC200 reviews.

Review 1:

I din an edc17c50 from bmw with it. Very stable. Very good bench tool for this money and it’s not a clone… I compared the readings to scanmatick clone, and they were identical, flash and eeprom. Plus it’s faster than scanmatik. This tool has great potential. I just hope that developers will keep up the good work…

Review 2:

I read and write and modify two EDC17C46 calculators from VW and one EDC17C60 calculator from PSA until today and I know a friend who read and write and modify an EDC17CP14 calculator from VW with the FC200.
