This post guides you to quickly check and synchronize your BMW’s mileage using the CGDI K2 smart key tool. A working key is required for this process.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1.Insert the Working Key
Place the working key into the CGDI K2 key slot.
2.Select “Chip Identification & Copy”
Choose this function to read the key’s data.
3.Identify Key Information
The tool detects the key (e.g., ID49 chip).
Press “More” to view detailed key data, including:
- Key type, chip model, key ID, and status
- Cloneability, brand, frequency, and current mileage (KM)
4.Edit the Mileage
Navigate to the “Mileage” option and select “Edit.”
Manually enter the desired mileage value.
5.Verify the Update
Recheck the key info to confirm the mileage has been successfully updated.
