How to connect CGDI BD006 and battery?
1.Connect the red clip to the positive (+) battery terminal and the black clip to the negative (-) battery terminal. The unit will then automatically power on and be ready for testing.
2.If testing the battery in a vehicle, do not insert the key, and ensure it remains in the OFF position. Make sure all electrical equipment and doors are closed.
- If the battery voltage is below 7V, the tester may not function properly.
- Before testing, clean the battery positive (+) and negative (-) terminals. If there is corrosion on the terminals, remove it before proceeding with the test.
- Connect the alligator clips directly to the battery positive (+) and negative (-) terminals. Do not use extension or adapter cables for an indirect connection.
- If the alligator clips are not properly fastened, the tester will display a warning message.
