How to use CGDI Prog MB to repair mileage on Mercedes- Benz W211 FBS3? Check the step-by-step guide as below.
Something to know firstly:
You need to backup your gateway data first.
1.Follow the on- screen steps on CGDI MB software to operate step by step
2.After that, put dashboard back to car, and check if the mileage will return back
3.If return back , you can wipe your EZS. Sometimes the mileage will reset 0 when you wipe your EZS.
Tips:
Our FBS3 function can stop most of the EZS mileage return back to instrument. So, suggest you do it according to the on- screen steps. If it cannot work, go to wipe your EZS.

The operation guide:
1.Connect all device properly, and then run CGMB software
2.Read EIS data to check the EIS is good and the OBD connector is ok
3.Go to Mileage Repair and check the operation tips
4.Go to Gateway, select the corresponding gateway type to read and save EEPROM & FLASH data.
When read FLASH data, you should select the corresponding chip type. It will take a long time to read FLASH data, please connect the power supply or start the car in advance.
5.Back to Mileage Repair, click “Read Mileage” to read out EIS and dashboard mileage
Enter 11111 in the Write Mileage (KM) input box, and then click “Write Mileage” (this operation will also take a long time)
Confirm to block the odometer synchronization with the EIS control module
6.Write dashboard successfully, then remove fuse or disconnect battery
7.Read mileage again, the dashboard mileage value is changed
