Sometimes, when you update your CG007 Godzilla Automotive Key Cutting Machine, it may appear the problem “Startup updater error! Maybe the update program does not exist or is broken!”. Don’t worry, just update again after restarting.
So, how to update CG007 Godzilla successfully?
The Godzilla key cutter supports online update. Users can update the APP, firmware and database by connecting the machine to WiFi, the server is available and free of region restriction for online update. Update log will automatically display in software. Only upgrades require network connection, others like calibration and cutting steps don’t need.
1.Connect with WiFi
Supply power to CG Godzilla and turn on the machine
On the main menu of Godzilla screen, click the WIFI logo to enter the WIFI connection interface
Follow the interface prompts to connect.
If it is connected, the WIFI signal will appear on the top left corner.
Note:
The menu function in the CG Godzilla Key Cutting Machine User Manual is a little different from the device, such as update in the user manual is Version Update, and it shows Update on the device. It’s not really important. The meaning is the same, just a reminder for you.
2.Update APP/firmware/database online
Tap “Update” on the main menu
If the server version needs update, the text will turn red. If not, it means the current version is the latest.
Click “Update” at the bottom- right corner to update the firmware, APP and database synchronously.
