Review 1:
I had a BDC module that had been coded with a different tool. For the first time, I tried OBD (having always done it on the bench before), but the upgrade didn’t go through correctly. CGDI BMW resolved the issue within minutes, while several other tools couldn’t even connect. There was no ignition, and it wasn’t the usual clicking EEPROM fault.
Review 2: CGDI can do coding and programming for CAS 1 to 3 and all F and G series.
Sometimes, clicking isn’t caused by a corrupt EEPROM but rather by a programming failure after the EEPROM has been altered. CGDI can address this by powering the EEPROM to prevent the clicking, allowing reprogramming without any need for desoldering. It can program FEM/BDC modules from scratch using the VIN number.
CGDI Prog BMW is also highly effective for CAS3++ ISN OBD and recoding the 9389115 module.
Review 3: CGDI will also connect to ICOM to use ISTA and E-sys functions.
I’ve successfully completed many downgrades without issues. Just ensure the battery is connected to a stable power source during the downgrade process. No need to worry—if anything goes wrong with the CAS during the downgrade, you can use CGDI to repair it. I even tested this by disconnecting the cable mid-downgrade; it killed the CAS, but CGDI BMW was able to restore it.
