Question:
Is it possible to use CGDI CG100X to correct mileage for Toyota Corolla, RAV4, Yaris S6J3001LSJ?
Answer:
Yes.
For 2018+ Toyota models like RAV4, Corolla, and Yaris (both hybrid and non-hybrid), a secured Spansion MCU S6J3001LSJ processor is used. Although these vehicles also contain an RH66 chip, the mileage data is not stored there. CG100X and CG100 Prog III can be used to correct mileage for them.
CGDI CG100X supports 2018+ Toyota S6J3001 below:
Toyota YizeEV 2021- S6J3001
Toyota RAV4 Rongfang 2023- S6J3001
Toyota LEXUs LS500h 2023- S6J3001
Toyota AVALONlion 2022- S6J3001
Toyota AVALONlion 2021- S6J3001
Toyota Highlander 2022- S6J3001 (hybrid motion)
Toyota Frontlander S6J3001
Toyota Wildlander S6J3001
Toyota Yaris S6J3001LSJ
Toyota Corolla 2020- S6J3001
Toyota LEXUS ES300H 2019- S6J3001/WD
Toyota CAMRY 2018- S6J3001/WD
Toyota Asia dragon 2019- S6J3001/WD
Toyota RAV4 2020- S6J3001/WD
Toyota CHR/IZOA (Yize) 2020- S6J3001
…
CG100 Prog III Programmer also supports some 2018+ TOYOTA S6J3001 models.
For example:
Corolla 2020- S6J3001
RAV4 2019-2021 S6J3001
Step-by-step guide to correct mileage for Toyota S6J3001 by CG100X:
e.g. 2019 Toyota RAV4 Rongfang S6J3001
Disassemble the instrument cluster
The mileage data is stored in the processor S6J3001
Run CG100X software
Select Dashboard>> Asian car>>Toyota>> RAV4 Rongfang>> 2019-2021 S6J3001
There are two types of diagrams:
Diagram 1: RAV4 2020-S6J3001/CG100_WD
Diagram 2: Toyota S6J3001 WD
Select the diagram 1 to use. Because the color of the PCB is the same, the sharing points are the same. You can double-click it to zoom in and zoom out wiring diagram.
Follow the diagram to connect device and RAV4 Rongfang dashboard correctly
Use PRO V2 Adapter to connect dashboard and CG100X, and also need to connect the 12V Power supply
After connection, click “Start Operation”
Click “Read Data” to read the mileage data
Then save the data after reading
Click “Write Data” and input the new mileage value you desired
Wait a while till the writing process is completed
Finally, disconnect the power and CG100X. Reinstall the Toyota instrument cluster back to vehicle and check if it is correct.
Kindly notice:
1.If the CGDI CG100X Programmer fails to read or write mileage on an S6J processor and shows the error message “no reply, the target chip is locked,” this indicates that the chip is encrypted. In this case, search for S6J3001 in the software and connect the cluster following the S6J Method 2 wiring diagram.
2.For S6J pinouts on other Toyota models, you can search in the CG100X software.
CG100X will attempt to read, modify, and write data. If it cannot modify the data, send the original MCU data to a CGDI engineer for manual modification.”
