Tutorial: Benz W166-ML350 add keyless go key by CGDI Prog MB.

Good to know firstly:

1.CGDI MB keyless go key support types:

W204-c series

W207-c series

W212-e series

W221-s series

W216-s series

W164-ml series

W251-r series

W166-ml series

W164-gl series

2.Please pay attention to the following notice before operation:

• Check your car type if it can support by CG keyless go key;
• Check the frequencyis right or not;
• The car key version should be same (76, 78);
• Your original car should support keyless go function good;
• You read the EIS data from your car (car no moving), then you add your key step by step;
• Choose 41 format

Step-by-step guide to add keyless go key:

1.Tools need:

One original Mercedes-Benz key (version is 78)

One MB FBS3 BGA Keyless Go Key (version is 76 or 78)

CGDI MB key programmer

Mercedes-Benz car

2.Operation:

Step 1: Connect CGDI MB programmer with the vehicle and computer

Step 2: Put the original key into CGDI MB hole

Step 3: Check the original key info and test the keyless function

Step 4: Read EIS, then copy the password and save the data

Step 5: When save the EIS data with password successfully, use the file to add keyless go key.

(Generate Key File-> Load EIS File-> Generate)

Step 6: Write new key

-Plug the new key into the CGDI MB Prog hole

-Read/Write key-> Reset

Reset the data successfully

-Read Key/Chip-> Open File/Write to choose 41 format-> Rewrite the key position

Write the key successfully

Step 7: Insert the key into EIS to learn and wait for 3 or 5 seconds

-Pull out the key, then insert it, turn the key until the ignition can turn on

Step 8: Put the one start button back and take away the original key

Test the new key, the remote can work good (new CG Keyless key can switch frequency)

Start the car, lock and unlock the car door perfectly.
