Part 2: Quick Guide to use BMW AT-200 Software
1.After install AT200 V1.7.0, remember to check the driver.
Then connect AT200 BMW ECU programmer to computer and vehicle
2.AT200 software home page
Enter AT200 software, you can see the page with car brand, model, Engine-gearbox and ECU
SN (Product serial number), current firmware/software version and device activation time remaining are at the bottom of the page.
Note: Remaining time can be activated automatically after expiration or contact the manufacture
3.Setting
In the setting option, you can select any language based on your need
Whether to tick the wiring diagram depends on your operating habits
Font size can be adjusted between 8 and 20.
There are two display modes: Category and Merge. The purpose of this option is to adjust the software architecture.
This is Merge mode which is different from category as shown above.
4.License
In the license options, you can see all the authorization of software functions, incl. all the functions that need to be activated, mainly see “Function name”
Note: If “Function name” indicated “YES”, it is already opened, and “No” indicates that it is not opened. You can click “Update Authorization” to see if the function is enabled.
5.Help
This new function contains the instruction manual and operation video.
Note: If you are not familiar with the product, you can click the corresponding tutorial title to watch.
6.Search
Select car brand and enter the DME module you need in the searching box
7.Platform
1).Category mode:
Select brand, model, Engine-gearbox and ECU, then click “Platform”
Follow the prompt to double-click the wiring diagram to zoom in
There are 9 operation options on the right:
Wiring diagram, Identification, Modify VIN, Read ISN, Write ISN, Read DFlash, Write DFlash, Read PFlash and Write PFlash
2). Merge mode:
Select car brand and ECU, then click “Platform”
It’s same as Category mode, also can double click the wiring diagram to see the larger picture
But in the mode, there are only 6 operation options incl. Wiring diagram, Identification, Read ISN, Write ISN, Backup data and Restore Data.
Then you can operate according to your need.
